A Cosmopolite Road Into AI π
Why Yellow Brick Road to AI is for curious travelers from every background, age, belief, and starting point.
A Cosmopolite Road Into AI π
Who belongs on the Yellow Brick Road to AI?
That question matters.
Because the AI age is not arriving for one kind of person.
It is not arriving only for programmers, founders, executives, students, engineers, writers, artists, teachers, parents, believers, skeptics, young people, older people, or people who already know the right vocabulary.
It is arriving for everyone.
That means the Road must be wide enough for everyone willing to walk it with curiosity, care, courage, and honesty.
That is why I think of Yellow Brick Road to AI with a cosmopolite spirit.
A cosmopolite is not trapped inside one narrow little box of belonging. The word points toward a citizen of the wider world: someone who can meet different people, cultures, ideas, questions, and possibilities without needing everything to look exactly like home before listening.
That matters now.
AI is already crossing borders: national borders, professional borders, creative borders, spiritual borders, educational borders, generational borders, and emotional borders.
It is entering homes, workplaces, schools, churches, studios, offices, kitchens, hospitals, friendships, and imaginations.
So this Road cannot be tribal.
It cannot be only for the tech-fluent.
It cannot be only for the young.
It cannot be only for the already convinced.
It cannot be only for the excited, or only for the afraid.
There is room here for the curious.
There is room here for the cautious.
There is room here for the doubtful.
There is room here for the delighted.
There is room here for the person who has used AI every day, and for the person who has not yet typed a single question into it.
The Yellow Brick Road to AI is not asking you to pretend.
It is not asking you to surrender your judgment.
It is not asking you to agree with everything I say.
It is asking something simpler:
Are you willing to walk honestly?
Are you willing to learn?
Are you willing to ask better questions?
Are you willing to meet this new intelligence with discernment instead of panic, imagination instead of cynicism, and respect instead of carelessness?
That is enough to begin.
Because the Road is not built for one tribe.
It is built for travelers.
And in the AI age, we are all travelers now.
Road Question: Where are you starting from on the AI Road: curiosity, caution, excitement, doubt, fear, hope, or somewhere in between?
